WST SIGNATURE GUARANTEES
POLICY
Worldwide Stock Transfer will establish and maintain written "Standards,
Procedures and Guidelines for the Acceptance of Domestic Signature Guarantees"
(referred to as "Standards & Procedures [Domestic]") - for acceptance of signature
guarantees in accordance with SEC Rule 17Ad-15. These written standards will
apply to domestic guarantees – those performed within the U.S. and Canada
(Section A).
Separate guidelines (Section B) for transfers from shareholders that originate
outside of the U.S. and Canada, because of the variables and the difficulties and
complexities of obtaining signature guarantees (especially the Medallion Signature
Guarantee).
A. The written Standards & Procedures [Domestic], will apply to all of the
following
Eligible Guarantor Institutions:
- Banks
- Brokers and dealers (municipal securities dealers and brokers, government
securities dealers and brokers)
- Credit unions
- National securities exchanges, registered securities associations, clearing
agencies
- Savings associations
*There should be nothing but the medallion stamp and signature. There should be
no date added next to them.
B. Guidelines for Foreign Guarantees:
- Medallion Signature Guarantee stamps are not available in all countries.
For transfers originating outside of the United States and its possessions
and Canada, the following guarantee or "certification" of signatures,
should be obtained.

Medallion guarantee stamp from a US bank with an office in the
foreign country

Medallion guarantee stamp from a US brokerage firm with an office
in the foreign country

Medallion guarantee stamp from any other "Eligible Guarantor
Institution."

A guarantee from a foreign bank that has offices in the United States

"Certification of the signature(s)" from a US Embassy in the foreign
country

"Certification of the signature(s)" from a US Consulate in the foreign
country

A notary, certifying the signature - from those countries within which
a notary is believed to carry the same level of certification and
acceptance as a signature guarantee
- If the transfer instructions are not in English, then an official translation to
English, certified by a US Embassy or by a US Consulate office is
required.
